Dec 10, 2022- Jon Tariq is one of the biggest experts in the world of Tango. After discovering his passion for the art form in his early 20s, he embarked in this journey as a professional in 2007 and his career has only gone on an upwards trajectory, working for some of the best studios in New York, Westchester and New Jersey, plus Tango allowed him to share his knowledge with Tango lovers in different parts of the world. 
 
Part of Tariq’s success is due to the wide variety of knowledge that he possesses in the field of Tango. Not one to rest on his laurels, he has continuously searched for new paths to learn from and, nowadays, he has cemented himself as an expert in the field and its many different variables. 
 
Another reason as to why Tariq is so highly regarded in the field of Argentine Tango dancing is the fact that he is one of the most progressive and more capable teachers in the market. Throughout the years, his work as an instructor, teacher and choreographer has received a lot of praises for prioritizing technique, execution and fundamentals in a fun, engaging manner. 
 
One of the biggest misconceptions about Argentine Tango is that you cannot learn it or dance it after a certain age.
